Applications are reviewed by authorised NKCS recruitment personnel. Resumes and supporting documents are stored privately and are not published in the website media library.
1. Who this notice applies to
This notice applies to people who apply for work with NK Customer Solutions through this website or communicate with NKCS about an advertised role. NK Customer Solutions, at Top Bay, Main Street, Annotto Bay, St. Mary, Jamaica, is responsible for this recruitment information.
2. Information collected
Depending on the role and what you provide, we may collect:
- your name, email address, phone number, address or parish;
- employment status, work history, BPO experience, education and qualifications;
- availability, preferred shifts, expected salary and potential start date;
- your resume, cover letter, certificates and other documents you choose to submit;
- the vacancy, referral source and recruitment communications;
- interview records, recruiter notes, internal assessments and the progress or outcome of your application; and
- browser, form-security, referral and technical information associated with the submission.
Please do not include bank details, account passwords, unnecessary government identification numbers, medical records or unrelated sensitive information in your resume.
3. Why we use applicant information
We use it to:
- receive, identify and review your application;
- assess qualifications, experience, availability and role fit;
- communicate with you and arrange recruitment steps;
- maintain fair, accurate and secure recruitment records;
- prevent fraudulent or automated submissions;
- establish or defend legal rights; and
- meet employment, recordkeeping or other legal obligations.
These activities support steps you request before a possible employment relationship, NKCS's legitimate recruitment and security interests, and applicable legal obligations. Where consent is legally required for a separate activity, such as retaining you in an extended talent pool, we will request it separately.
4. Who receives applicant information
- authorised NKCS administrators, recruitment personnel, hiring managers and interviewers who need the information;
- Supabase, which provides database and private document storage;
- Zoho, which processes application confirmations and recruitment email;
- Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes security signals used to protect the application form;
- the website hosting provider; and
- advisers, regulators or authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required.
NKCS does not sell applicant information. We do not provide resumes to prospective clients as part of the website application process.
5. Storage and international processing
Application records are managed in NKCS's private content-management system. Uploaded files use private storage and randomised filenames. Service-provider infrastructure or support personnel may be located outside Jamaica or your country. NKCS uses access restrictions and provider arrangements intended to protect this information during such processing.
6. Retention
Applications and uploaded documents are normally retained for up to 12 months from submission so NKCS can complete the recruitment process, respond to questions and maintain an appropriate record. Information may be kept longer when:
- you agree to a longer talent-pool period;
- the recruitment process or a related dispute remains active;
- retention is required by law; or
- you are hired, in which case relevant information becomes part of your employment record and follows separate retention requirements.
7. Recruitment decisions
NKCS recruitment and hiring decisions are made by people. We do not use website analytics or automated profiling to make a decision that has a legal or similarly significant effect on an applicant. Cloudflare may automatically identify a form submission as suspected automated abuse.
8. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of your applicant information, or object to or restrict certain processing. Some information may be retained where a legal exception applies. Email support@nkcustomer.com with the subject "Applicant privacy request".
9. Questions and complaints
Contact NKCS at support@nkcustomer.com. You may also complain to the Office of the Information Commissioner, Jamaica, or another applicable privacy regulator.
